The young people, as
our "Guides", will start a pro-active movement as emissaries of peace to
create a non-violent world in harmony with all living things.
Our guides will act as catalysts
to create a coalition of people who will work together with other
organizations toward the goal of a peaceful world.
THE GUIDES WILL:
1. Commit to a non-violent life style and perform acts of kindness.
2. Learn to accommodate for diversity so that violence because of a
person's race, culture, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual
orientation will cease.
3. Advocate the use of our abundant resources to provide programs to end
hunger and provide shelter to the needy.
4. Promote the use of our resources to educate young people to better
prepare for the future, including vocational training and to re-educate
adults so that they may be productive members of society.
5. Help establish youth commissions to address concerns, problems and
solutions for young people.
6. Educate to stop the pollution of our environment and the pollution of
our minds and bodies by avoiding alcohol, tobacco and illegal drugs.
7. Encourage our people in leadership roles to set examples and provide
ethical and moral guidance.
8. Set examples of non-violent life styles and values by going out to
communities to start clean-up campaigns of our streets and schools
bringing pride to our communities.
9. Set up non-sectarian Harmony Coalition International Centers for
Peace and Harmony as interactive focal points for peace in each
community.
In summary, the GUIDES will act as agents of change embarking on a campaign
to free our minds, bodies and environment of the pollution, which is
destroying our world. Eliminating hatred, bigotry and the violence they
create, and leave us receptive to non-violent life styles. This
will help create a peaceful world in which we all want to live.
