 Proclamation for a Peaceful Community
For a peaceful community, we will
PROVIDE ethical and moral leadership as government, non-governmental and religious leaders;
ENDEAVOR to be positive role models and mentors as adults, providing quality time and guidance for the betterment of future generations;
CREATE a climate of reconciliation and repentance by recognizing and clarifying past misunderstandings, mis-perceptions and mistakes of former generations;
LEARN alternative behavioral techniques aimed at reducing violence and destruction to Human Beings and Earth;
STRIVE to eliminate violence against Human Beings of any ethnicity, culture, race, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation or for any other reasons;
SEEK knowledge and understanding of diverse belief systems;
ENSURE that all living creatures are free from suffering by eradicating the abuse of Human Beings, as well as animals;
INVEST in the education and development of young people by local, state and federal government agencies, corporations and private industry;
ESTABLISH Youth Commissions to address concerns, problems and solutions for individuals 25 years and younger.
